Piermont sits where Rockland, Bergen and Westchester meet, so most of the region is a short drive. Clients further away work with me over video.
Rockland County, NY
I'm based in Piermont, in the southeast corner of Rockland County, so this is the county I work in most. For a business in Nyack, Pearl River or New City, a first meeting is a short drive for me rather than a video call. That changes the work: it is much easier to build the right website, or fix the right system, after seeing the shop, the office or the job site and how your day runs.

Nyack, NY
Nyack is the next village up the river from me. I'm in Piermont, a few minutes down 9W, so a meeting on Main Street or South Broadway is easier for me than a video call. Two of the businesses I work with are here or close by: an accounting firm in the village and a restaurant on South Broadway, with its sister restaurant out in Valley Cottage.

New City is the county seat, so it has more lawyers, accountants, insurance agents and medical offices than anywhere else in Rockland. Those are the businesses I build for most here. Their clients do not wander in. They search for a service and the place, compare a few websites, and call the one that looks steady and clear. New City is a short drive inland from Piermont, past Nyack and Valley Cottage.

Nanuet, NY
Nanuet is where Rockland shops. Route 59 runs through it, The Shops at Nanuet sit on it, and the Thruway and the Garden State Parkway meet just to the west. For an independent business here, the competition on Google is not only the shop down the road. It is every chain on 59 that has a marketing department and a listing with hundreds of reviews.

Bergen County is a few minutes over the state line from Piermont, which makes it one of the areas I meet clients in most often. It is also a dense, competitive market, where local search visibility does a lot of the work of winning a customer.
