Working With Nyack Businesses

Nyack is the next village up the river from me. I'm in Piermont, a few minutes down 9W, so a meeting on Main Street or South Broadway is easier for me than a video call. Two of the businesses I work with are here or close by: an accounting firm in the village and a restaurant on South Broadway, with its sister restaurant out in Valley Cottage.

Towns I cover

  • Nyack
  • Upper Nyack
  • South Nyack
  • Central Nyack
  • Grand View-on-Hudson
  • Valley Cottage
  • West Nyack
  • Piermont

In-person meetings are available across all of these. If your town is not listed, ask.

More about working in Nyack, NY

Two Kinds of Customer on the Same Street

A Nyack business serves the people who live here and the people who come for the day. Locals already know you; they want your hours, your number or tonight's menu, and they want it quickly. Visitors drive over the bridge from Westchester or up from New Jersey, search on a phone while they park, and pick from whatever Google shows them first.

That is why a Nyack site lives or dies on a phone. The page has to load fast on a weak signal, show the address and the hours without scrolling, and give one clear thing to do: call, book, order or get directions. Your Google Business Profile matters just as much, because a visitor often never reaches the website at all.

Restaurants With a Room to Fill

Plenty of Nyack restaurants have a back room or a bar area that could hold a party. Very few have a page that sells it. Someone planning an office holiday lunch searches for a private room in Nyack, finds the main menu, and calls somewhere else.

For a restaurant on South Broadway I built a private party page with its own inquiry form, and a Google Ads campaign that sends party searches straight to it. Its sister restaurant in Valley Cottage has the same kind of page. The restaurant websites page covers what else a restaurant site needs.

Offices in the Village

Nyack is also full of small professional offices: accountants, therapists, lawyers, designers. Their customers rarely walk past the door. They search for the service and the town, read two or three websites, and call the one that looks most trustworthy.

A bookkeeping and CFO firm in the village had a Google listing doing all the work and a website doing none of it. I rebuilt it as five clear pages and moved it off its old site builder without breaking the office email. Within the first ten days it was starting to appear near the top for small business and healthcare accounting searches.

Questions

Nyack Questions

Are you based in Nyack?

No, I'm in Piermont, the village just south of Nyack on 9W. It is a short drive, so meeting at your shop or office in Nyack is easy.

My customers are mostly weekend visitors. What should the site do first?

Load fast on a phone and show the address, the hours and one button. Then make sure your Google listing has the same hours, including holidays, because many visitors decide from the listing alone.

Can you help a restaurant book more private parties?

Yes. A separate party page with a short inquiry form, plus search ads aimed at people looking for a private room, is what I set up for a restaurant on South Broadway this season.

Our old website looked dated and wasn't bringing in new patients. Luca redesigned everything and now we consistently get compliments from patients who say the site made them feel confident choosing us.
